Responsible for:
o Develop and implement an effective and robust Quality Management System for laboratory and back-office operations
o Ensure continual improvement of the Quality Management System by conducting internal audits
o Ensure that the department\'s QMS conforms to the customer, internal standards, ISO 9001, ISO 17025 and regulatory/legal requirements.
o Assist in external audit programs such as accreditation bodies, governmental agencies, and clients
o Identify, acquire and use tools to evaluate the quality performance of the department
o Provide technical support to the business units on quality-related issues and research of emerging quality system standards and business opportunities
o With administrative support, track Key Performance Indicators adopted by the management team
o Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications
o Investigating internal findings & customer complaints, conducting root cause analysis and developing corrective/preventive actions
o Identifying training needs for the employees and provide adequate pieces of training
o Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality
Accomplishments:
o Designed improved process flow and new ergonomics for chemists and operational activities.
o On a regular basis, created trend analysis reports of non-conformances from both internal and external sources. These reports were communicated to internal upper management.
o Participated in multiple internal and external audits for the purpose of improving processes.
